With the first vines planted in 1973, the Coal River Valley in southern Tasmania has become firmly established among discerning palates as one of Australia’s most prestigious cool climate wine regions. As one of the most significant vineyard sites in the valley, we’re proud to be part of this tradition.
Our 34 hectares of winemaking nirvana was planted in 1999, in the geographical heart of the Coal Valley.
But what truly separates our wine from others is the passion, determination and expertise of our winemakers. They work tirelessly to create a wine that’s a reflection of our home and our region, even hand-pruning every single vine, ensuring that yields are the right size and that only the best fruit is selected.
