Handpicked whole bunches were partially fermented in small fermenters and plunged twice a day, then pressed at the end of ferment to be transferred into new and older barrels. Wild, red fruits with a light dusting of sandalwood and spice. Mixed berry flavours with silky smooth tannins.
Handpicked for quality, all the fruit in our Reserve merlot is grown in black clay, similar to Bordeaux’s right bank. Features notes of blackberry and berry compote, as well as silky smooth tannins.
